We are known as the Torrey Pines Women's Nine Hole Golf Club, the TP9 for short.  The club's home course is the North Course Back 9 of the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Course.  In addition to the tee times provided for Torrey Pines, the club has been allocated tee times on the 9 hole Balboa Park Golf Course.

How do I join the your club?

​

Click the Join Our Club button on this page.  Look for the link to open and download the Membership Form.  Complete the form and send it to our Membership director.  Her address is included on the form.  ​

When does the club play?

​

We play most Fridays year round at the Balboa Park 9 Hole course.  The Balboa Park tee times are normally scheduled between 8:40 and 10:00.  When we are allocated tee times on the Torrey Pines North  back nine, our tee times are prior to 7:30 am.

How will I sign up to play?

 

Every week, you'll receive emails that invite you to sign up for a future date.  The invites for alternative courses on dual days are sent on separate emails.  If you want to play on that date and course, just reply to the email.  Closer to the date of the round you will receive the draft (and later final) tee sheet so that you'll know your playing partners and tee times.

When may I join?

​

You may become a member of the TP9 club at any time of the year.  ​

What is the cost to join?

​

The annual membership rate is $45 if you become a member between January 1 and June 30.  If you sign up between July 1 and December 31, the rate is $22.  All continuing memberships renew on January 1.​

What else should I know?

​

• You do not need to reside in San Diego to play with our club, however members who have a City of San Diego Resident ID benefit from lower green fees on both the Torrey Pines North and Balboa Park 9 Hole courses and, if age qualified, senior discounts as well.

• Your membership does not include green fees or cart rentals.Questions regarding the Resident ID and Torrey Pines North / Balboa Park green fees can be answered by visiting the San Diego Golf Division website:  https://www.sandiego.gov/park-and-recreation/golf.

• The green fees and cart rental rates for other courses used by the club are the posted rates in effect for each course.
